Saturday Night's Alright For Sleeping: Rockabye Baby Lullabies Elton John, 9.10

Tiny dancers become tiny sleepers with the release of Rockabye Baby’s ‘Lullaby Renditions of Elton John’ on September 10th. The latest from the award-winning series turns the Rocket Man’s biggest songs into pacifying bedtime instrumentals.

From early hits like “Goodbye Yellow Brick Road” to later anthems like “Can You Feel the Love Tonight,” Rockabye Baby reinterprets Sir Elton’s chartbusters through calming arrangements of bells, xylophone and wood blocks. While the singer’s beloved piano ballads translate to the lullaby versions effortlessly, Rockabye makes even the rowdy “Crocodile Rock” sound soothing. There’s also Elton-themed kids' games for liner notes and a baby food recipe.

Making rock music baby-friendly and kids' music adult-friendly, Rockabye Baby has given its lullaby treatment to the work of more than 50 artists including U2, Coldplay, Foo Fighters, The Smiths and Depeche Mode. The series has sold more than a million albums, has been praised by outlets including People, Spin and NME, and counts among its avowed fans Elton John, Kate Hudson, Victoria Beckham and Ellen DeGeneres, who says the series "puts [kids] to sleep with cool music that you'll want to hear as well."

All Rockabye Baby releases are available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon and the Rockabye Baby site. To hear samples of “lullabied” music from The Beatles, Kanye West, Madonna, Guns N' Roses and more, visit http://www.rockabyebabymusic.com/
